Amber Vernmonte Estate

A Legacy of Charm in the Hills

Heritage & History

The Amber Vermont Estate carries a rich legacy dating back to the early 1800s when it was part of the grand Logie Estate owned by Dr. Hugh Falconer, a celebrated Scottish geologist and botanist. Dr. Falconer’s pioneering discoveries of fossil mammals in the Siwalik Hills and his tenure as Superintendent of the Saharanpur Botanical Gardens add an extraordinary scientific heritage to this property.

Built in the latter half of the 19th century by a Britisher, the estate is one of the oldest in Mussoorie. It has been lovingly restored to retain the charm of a traditional English cottage, blending history with modern luxury.
